Created in the 1930s to answer clients’ needs in handling and transforming metals purchased form Naggiar, the Equipment department offers a variety of machinery of different capacities to ease fabrication and handling of heavy materials. The department also provides some of its equipment for rent.
ACCESS EQUIPMENT
An aerial work platform (AWP), is a mechanical device used to provide temporary access for people or equipment to inaccessible areas, usually at height.
Lifting and handling
Material handling equipment is used for the movement, storage, control and protection of materials, goods and products.
STAINLESS STEEL CLEANING AND MARKING
This high-quality weld cleaning equipment quickly removes oxides created during the welding process, restoring the original material colour in an environmentally friendly manner. It also re-passivates the welds.
Dark and Light marking of all conductive metal surfaces is another optional function of the cleaning and embossing machines.
Stud welding
Stud welding is a technique similar to flash welding where a fastener or specially formed nut is welded onto another metal part, typically a base metal or substrate. The fastener can take different forms, but typically fall under threaded, unthreaded or tapped.
